Investigations for clinical uses of Agaricus found that it can be used for treating Diabetes Type 2, Inflammatory Bowel Diseases -including ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. Agaricus can also be used to treat different types of Cancer such as Leukemia, Prostate Cancer, Ovarian Cancer and Lung Cancer. It also helps in reducing the inflammation that can lead to chronic Hepatitis infections.
